SUMMER CAMP (AUG 2019)
The 2019 Summer Camp was an opportunity to explore, live and share experiences with 50 other students from around the world. It was a teaser of life within a dedicated United World College (UWC) community of students, alumni, educators, staff and volunteers, all striving to inspire and create positive change towards peace, sustainability and and an equitable future for all across the globe. Participants left with new friends, new views, new skills, and a renewed belief that one can change communities for the better. Need-based scholarships were offered.
DAY CAMPS (MARCH 2019 & ApRIL 2019)
The YPM team conducted two pilot day camps for S3-5 students of Baptist Lui Ming Choi Secondary School, SKH Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School, and Tsang Pik Shan Secondary School. Their understanding of diverse cultures and traditions was enhanced via games and activities; they also dove into social-cultural issues to broaden their perspective and find commonality around the globe.
BE OUR SPONSORING PARTNER
The foundations of the UWC movement are built upon key individuals who wish to see the message of peace and sustainability spread across the globe via education. As these learning opportunities are fully non-profit, we rely on the kindness of donors to ensure equitable access to UWC education in the form of need-based scholarships.
